The Exclusive VIVE Worship Experience
Amen - Reprise
-
On the last night of the AMEN 2024 Experience, “AMEN” came to life during a time with flow with Pastor Adam. This moment in worship became a moment forever engraved in our hearts as we all declared “AMEN” to the calling to build God’s Kingdom here and now and all over the world. We wanted to include this song in this project because believe that this song activates faith in every season. God has exceedingly more than we could ever think, ask or imagine.
-
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21We has humanity face limiting thoughts daily, if not multiple times a day. These thoughts usually begin with, “but what if..”, “how could I ever..”, “that’s impossible..”, “God could never..”. But we are not called to think in the natural. In fact, we are called to usher in the supernatural and it’s done when we activate our faith.
Really practically, faith is activated when we asses what is happening in the natural and surrender to what could be possible in a life that is under submission to God’s will. God’s will for our life is not always as mysterious as we make it. As we find in these verses, His will is to do more than what we could ask or think while His power is at work within us. His will is limitless.
Take time to consider what we’ve perhaps accidentally limited within ourselves. Ask the Holy Spirt to empower you, to embolden your faith in order to hope for all that God is preparing to do in and through your life. -

Breakthroughs Coming
-
“Breakthrough’s Coming” is what faith should sound like. Despite what we are facing in the present, we know and trust that the Lord has our victory prepared for us. From this knowledge, we wanted to write a praise song that located those who might be in the middle of a tough season and remind them that the Lord already is working on our behalf, so our proper response is to be filled with faith and thankfulness for the good that is on it’s way.
Right from the start, the songwriters wanted to equip The Church with a posture of faith, “when I lift my hands I have victory.” Worship is a weapon that we should use in every season. The pre-chorus was intentional to remind us that we’re still running the race set out before us because the only outcome for those who believe is victory. His faithfulness will never fail us, we’ve seen it time and time again. Which is why the bridge reminds us of where we used to be and what God has freed us from. He’s already working everything out for our good.
-
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
Having a Holy Passion can be difficult to sustain if we base it off of what we experience in the natural. This is why it’s so important for us believers to come around The Word and be filled with faith. Scripture says to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. It’s very easy to go about our day and focus on what is happening around us, but God is inviting us to focus on what He wants to do through us. He is inviting us to partner with Him through faith in order for His glory to be outworked in our lives.
When we partner with His truth, we can face trials and still believe we’re an overcomer. We can silence doubts and trust that God’s plans are for good and not to harm us. When the world spins a narrative to feed us lies of who we should be, we can respond and live boldly in faith for we know who God created us to be.
What areas in your life do you need to begin walking out by faith? Because it’s time to start running towards our breakthrough.
-
VERSE 1
When I lift my hands I have victory
We can sing Your name ‘cause we’re free indeed
The battle may be going on
But we’ve already overcome
VERSE 2
You have given us all authority
We are taking ground off the enemy
We know You’ve already won
Praise Him ‘cause I know it’s done
PRE-CHORUS
So if you’re wondering why I'm running
It’s cause I know my breakthrough’s coming
It’s on the way, it’s on the way
CHORUS
I just wanna thank You for what You’ve given
I believe it before I see it
Gonna walk by faith, I don’t need to feel it
Your faithfulness hasn’t failed me
I just wanna thank You for what You’ve given
I believe it before I see it
Gonna walk by faith, I don’t need to feel it
Your faithfulness hasn’t failed me
VERSE 3
I will win this race there’s no need to fear
You’re my source of strength so I persevere
The pressure may be comin’ on
But in the end You’ll say “well done”
BRIDGE
I've been down
I've been out
But I know it’ll turn it around
He's already working
He’s already working it out
Still to Come
-
The bridge of this song originated as a vamp and inspired the overall theme of “Still to Come”. He see in scripture that the Lord invites us to believe for more because He is willing to fulfill our prayers according to his will. We wanted to remind The Church that we can let go of the old, the broken, the fear and the worry because God has even greater things in store for His people.
-
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12
All throughout scripture we see how God invites us to have more faith. Faith is the evidence of things not yet seen. It’s as if faith is what makes what feels impossible, possible. But don’t be mistaken, it’s who we put our faith and trust in that makes the difference. Our God is unchanging, but He always has something new prepared in areas that feel like a dead end. Thousands have come and gone but the testimony of His goodness remains. So where might have we lost faith? What areas should we surrender to the lord? Perhaps today is the day you pray this song over your life:
Lord, come do something new, that I’ve never seen before. Show your glory through me. Amen.
-
VERSE 1
Let go of former things
Lift up your eyes and see
Our God is doing a new thing
VERSE 2
Fear not He’s in control
Step out take the limits off
Oh, God do a new thing in me
TAG
Do a new thing in me
CHORUS
Seasons change, but You’re the unchanging One
Age to age, You’ve already overcome
Yesterday and every day I know that You’re still the same
You’ve been good and greater things are still to come
TAG
Still to come
Still to come
Greater things are (still to come)
VERSE 2
Fear not He’s in control
Step out take the limits off
Oh, God do a new thing in me
Bridge 1
Come do something new like we’ve never seen before
Come do something new like we’ve never seen before
Come do something new like we’ve never seen before
Show Your Glory, show Your Glory
Bridge 2
He’s ready (He’s ready) He’s willing (He’s willing)
He’s able to do what He said He will do
Now I Sing
-
“Now I Sing” is a resolve to worship in the midst of the trail, knowing that God is with and for us every step of the way . The writing team was inspired by Psalms 37, as the psalmist points out that praise and faith go hand in hand. In fact, a “potent praise” is forged in the darkest valleys. A praise that is potent is worship that has a great effect. There is profound power held in a life that still honors God when times of trouble come. In fact, a life that is steadfast in submission to the Lord is essentially the heart of worship. For as the psalmist also reminds us, we will go our entire lifetime and never once see the Lord forsake us.
-
“The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.” Psalm 37:39-40
What is a “potent praise”?
In order to make wine, the vineyards must experience seasons of heat in order to produce the grapes. Then the grapes must be crushed to produce wine. Then the wine must undergo a period of waiting to produce maturity. Jesus used wine to represent his blood poured out for us. We now use the wine or juice in our time of communion to remember all what Christ did for us, how he restored us back unto Himself.
God allows times of troubles because it develops something within us. Perhaps what He is working on in our lives today won’t be revealed until much later. But if we respond to the heat, the thirst, the waiting, and the crushing with praise and faith, what is produced in us will be beautiful, purposeful, and crafted by His perfect design.
So what season are you in today? Can you challenge yourself to worship despite the discomfort? Take heart, for He is at work within you.

For The Lord
-
“For The Lord” was written for the 2025 Vision season at VIVE Church. Pastor Adam Smallcombe presented a fresh and monumental vision from God—not just for the next year but for the next decade—centered on expanding VIVE Church to 100 campuses worldwide. This vision requires faith and a heart posture inspired by Colossians 3:23: "In everything we do, we should do our best because we are doing it for the Lord."
We recognize that Christ has done so much in our lives that we could never repay Him, yet we can freely surrender every area of our lives to Him, bringing Him our very best to glorify and honor His name. His Kingdom will continue to advance, not just through church locations but in everything we do, empowered by His Spirit to bring heaven to earth.
-
“Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom.” Ecclesiastes 9:10
Christ molded the ultimate sacrifice. In fact, it was the only price that was fitting to what it would take to purchase our salvation. We thankfully no longer need to offer burnt offerings or have a priest pray on our behalf. Not only did Christ create a way for us, but He also gave us His Spirit to empower us in everything that we do. It’s clear that God wants us to live in communion with Him. We could never repay what Christ did, but we can submit and surrender everything we have now to bring glory to His name.
Perhaps ask yourself today what have you been reserving for yourself? Listen to the voice of the Spirit. What can we better surrender for Christ to use? Is it our marriage? Is it our social platforms?
Perhaps you’ve never made the prayer of full surrender to Christ before. Now is a great time to declare Jesus as your Lord and savior, invite Him into your heart and life, and dedicate your entire being For The Lord.

Holy Fire
-
“Holy Fire“ originated from a vamp out of one of our own worship songs written for a Sunday morning at VIVE Mountain View. This vamp transformed into a song and declaration that our passion for God’s presence would never cease, that it would be a fire that would never burn out. Our prayer for you is that this song would empower you with the words and heart posture to ignite a holy passion for Christ.
-
“You shall be holy to me, for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.” Leviticus 20:26
To be “holy” is to be set apart. God has called you specifically to have relationship with Him. There are so many factors in this day and age that can be distractions to living out that relationship fully heartedly. You might find yourself in a season where you’ve allowed your passion for Christ to die out. Perhaps you are new and just starting your walk with Christ but you are longing to go deeper.
The great news is, both circumstances have the same invitation: repent and make Christ your first love. Repentance is just a 180 degree turn; you turn away from evil to do good. Set apart time for the Lord each day. Lead yourself into worship when things are hard. Prioritize the gathering and fellowship of The Church each week.
Why?
It’s in these moments that we lay a physical offering before The Lord, an offering that He can consume and set this passion to flame. -
